Raising Funds for Research
Why is research needed? Currently, there isn't a treatment plan to treat the symptoms of UBA5. Each of our warriors is on a concoction of different medications to treat symptoms. Dosage and medications have to be adjusted or changed which takes time and can be difficult for the warrior. Finding a drug that would be effective at treating UBA5 symptoms would give much-needed relief to many of our UBA5 warriors and their families.

Ultimately, our goal is for ongoing research to find a CURE for UBA5.
2024 Fundraising Goal:
$50,000
In 2022, our foundation reached our first goal of raising $50,000 for research. We are currently working on gifting that $50,000 toward ongoing current research. More money is needed to continue to fund
ongoing research. As a foundation, we have decided to raise money in increments of $50,000.
